We have been waiting anxiously for this news. Porto’s Bakery is finally opening its new location in Buena Park! It has been years in the making to get Porto’s Bakery in Orange County. If you have not heard of Porto’s, Where have you been? They have been voted Best Bakery in the country on Yelp for years. Their reviews are great and the lines are long. A tell tale that Porto’s is worth the wait.
Porto’s is a family run restaurant. The Porto’s family emigrated to California from Manzanillo, Cuba. Rosa Porto was a baker back in Cuba and her fame followed her to California. The family started making cakes from their home and eventually outgrew their space. After years they added the cafe part to the bakery. Bringing traditional Cuban sandwiches and platters to Southern California. Each one of their locations is bigger than the previous one. Proving that Porto’s fame keeps growing.

Porto’s Bakery never disappoints from their pastries, sandwiches and coffees. Their top sellers include; potato balls, guava strudel, besitos and cuban sandwich. I personally love their coffees. The cortadito is perfect not too strong or sweet. The Porto’s Iced Coffee is my go-to, but the Dulce de Leche Iced Coffee is a must also. Porto’s is extremely reasonably priced for the quality of food and service. Now that Porto’s is on Orange County we will definitely be going a whole lot more. The Grand Opening is on March 1, 2017. and you do not want to miss it.
